HOW TO GET TO

If traveling in your own car, in Punta Peña-Almirante Road, turn at kilometer 60, where there is a signposted entrance to the community of Valle Risco. From there you have to drive carefully because that way, although paved, is sinuous, with ups and downs. Less than a mile of that road, take a detour to the right and dribe about 5 minutes for this new path also paved and with the same conditions above, we reach the Ngobe community of Rio Oeste Arriba, a set of houses built on the hillside and adjacent to the river that gives the name.

If you do not travel in your car, you have two options: in Almirante take a minibus that takes passengers to the entrance of the community (every 40 minutes, $ 1.25) or a taxi to the same place ($ 5 to $ 7).

Oreba headquarters is at the end of the main way, up the hill. Ask for Solomon Quintero. However it is recommended to call ahead to be sure of being served.
